Don't do anything until you get that written contract... It's not an offer until you see the offer letter. Just a friendly reminder. Have seen ppl get verbal offer tell their current employer and then get screwed with late offer letter no offer letter. Etc
Also congratulations!! As much as we all love to bash our firms and the hours on Fishbowl - I truly think I couldn't have picked a better company to work for and people to work with. BCG is a pretty special place :) *goes back to create a thread about 5 am flights*
@OP: Do you know what position will you be starting at? As far as I understand, and assuming you're from the US - the role will likely be as a Consultant or Project Leader - but rather than being a generalist, your casework will focus on your practice area (implementation) only and you will dedicate part of your time to grow the vertical you're in and serve as a topic expert for other teams. The compensation will likely be the same as "regular" track consultants of the same tenure
Congrats! What does that role entail?
BCG has an implementation specialist position?
Never heard of that position
Congrats!!! BCG is a firm I've always admired. How did you get the interview? Were you referred, did they find you, or did you apply cold? Just curious :)
Nice!!
Thank you, BCG2. I will get to know things in detail by end of this week. Couldn't be more happier to be honest.
Did you still have to do case interviews as an experience hire?
Congrats
Monies?
Worth the switch?
Curious to know more too
I got a position from an internal reference. I gave 5 interviews in total. 2 on the phone and 3 in-person. And Yes there was a case study round.
Congrats
