Hi guys,
Need help,I am joining VMware Banglore on 27th June. During interview I told them I need wfh. They said it wil be wfh this entire year. Only mistake I did was i didn't permanent wfh. I took for granted like once I join i can opt for it ( as my VMware friends had said we can opt for it)
Now the offices have started, I am scared if they call me to office , I have 14months son, not willing to leave him n go for office.
So if I ask manager to give me permanent wfh will they agree ?
Got a random email from a supposed Amazon recruiter for a SDE position (which is not at all a fit). The email is amazon.com domain and there are no red flags in the body but it doesn't feel like an Amazon recruiter due to the tacky signature, etc. Has anyone seen this kind of cold-calling from FAANG recruiter?

Yes, had to build a secured credit card model for a product which could integrate into existing product line up, then present and defend.
Take notes on each of the interviewers and ask questions that could give you insight into what kinds of questions they’re likely to ask. It’ll look sharp as fuck if you can successfully anticipate the questions, prepare a few appendix slides and as the question is asked, skip to the slide and share that you anticipated that person would ask that question.
My role was for an innovation analyst role. Is your destined position in sales or internal delivering to managers?
Happy to jump on a call if you’re looking for a more specific feedback or want to do a trial run. Others help in my network so always happy to pay it forward
Yea had do something similar at Barclays years ago. Kept the presentation simple and straightforward and present your hypothesis in one sentence so it's easy for audience to follow along.
Love the advice you've already got here. I would also just add to work within what is familiar to you. Use presentation software that's easy for you over flashy, prepare either by writing the presentation out for yourself or practice with flashcards. Just be comfortable. Don't know if you ever took a public speaking course, but if it's been a while those little skills and ability to stay comfortable and confident really matter.
Don’t let them steal all your ideas if you don’t get the job! I would tease your recos more than just laying out all your conclusions and hard work for the interviewers to steal! Good luck!
