Just had the weirdest interview. From the moment I turned on the camera the interviewer “older white woman” 1st words were “wow, I feel like I’m not dressed up enough”, I said “oh, thank you”, as I know I’m attractive and present very will. The next few minutes of the interview this lady sent every second trying to downplay every achievement of mine (I have managed 26 direct reports, won awards, own a small agency and restaurant, etc), she also kept asking questions (continued in comments..)

Meanwhile I just received a Director offer for a company with a 29% pay bump July 1. If Amazon or any other FAANG/large co gets back to me, is there an acceptable way to not burn bridges with new job and accept or delay start date with FAANG? Or fuck it just hop?

I’m a CRC who manages Investigator- led clinical research projects and I want to transition to a PM role in industry (I would slightly prefer not a PM role in clinical trials since I don’t have clinical trial experience.) I called the HR after getting their point of contact mail and I asked if it's possible to switch. They said I'm already tagged to a project and that they'll check from their end if it can be done.
