My company went toxic in the last couple months. Chose me and started interviewing. Had a very successful interview with Amazon but recruiter is working hard trying to place me and said there’s no knowing how long to find a team. Meanwhile I just received a Director offer for a company with a 29% pay bump July 1. If Amazon or any other FAANG/large co gets back to me, is there an acceptable way to not burn bridges with new job and accept or delay start date with FAANG? Or fuck it just hop?

how are you all feeling about an org that is saying absolutely nothing about everything going on in the world. nothing about mental health awareness month, nothing about rowe v wade, nothing about inflation, etc but we are in the HR/Recruiting consulting realm and our clients are even asking us for guidance on these conversations . (yes, myself and others have also asked) I have been looking and interviewing elsewhere but looking on how you are all navigating having healthy conversations!

She just interviewed for another job that likes her a lot but she doesn’t love. She’s considering taking the role as a bridge to other role opens up. I think it’s better for her to wait it out. Anyone else have any thoughts of taking a job for only a few months?

But I still haven't received any updates on the next steps.

I am aware that I’m really flaky and just not reliable when it comes to things that aren’t super important. Example say I have 1:1 with a potential mentor or career chat, but I have a pressing meeting the same day. I’ll post pone it to prepare. Sometimes that happens multiple times. I don’t do it on purpose, it just happens. This has caused people to really not care/distance themselves from me, understandable. How do I get to be more reliable? Or just not flaky?

Hi all, as a Talent Acquisition Partner that is looking to start expending my Professional education, would you recommend pursuing SHRM-CP certification?

I am looking to make a career change to HR. I currently make 75K as a sales and development coach. I had a recent offer for a state government position in a talent acquisition role but I’d be taking a $25K pay cut.
