I'm SVP/strategy for a PR agency. I moved into PR, Healthcare, and Strategic Planning only 3 years ago. An agency recruiter is trying to convince me to move into a GSVP account role, assuring me "at that level it's all strategy." (I dont think she understands the words she's using. Or that I'm qualified). But long-term, knowing account roles are so much more plentiful than brand planning in PR, I'm wondering if I should start thinking about account. Anyone here moved from strategy to account?

In the beginning of my career I absconded 1 company who had 3 years bond and I worked there for 5 months. My pf account is created for that company and it has been closed with reason cessation (short service). After that I worked in 1 company for 6 years and since January I'm working in TCS. how many days does it generally takes for a company to come back with a revised offer ? I had an offer letter received on thursday 21st and i asked for a 10% increase which the Hr agreed and said will be giving the updated letter in a week.

In the HR discussion, we both agreed on 30L CTC (10% Variable) and 1L joining bonus. But later after 2-3 days when they need to release the offer, HR is saying they got the approval for 28L CTC(10% variable) and 2L joining bonus.

Should I take that offer and look for other options or straight forward reject the offer and then look for other options?

Also, according to this behaviour of the HR, is it good behaviour?
