Was at dinner with my mom yesterday and we got into an argument about me not wanting to tell her how much my salary is. I had no problem telling my parents right out of college but just feel kind of weird about it as I progress in my career. Salary question: working as a partnerships/digital content project coordinator in arts & culture and want to ask for a pay rise at my annual review. But the company is strapped for resources as we are not for profit.
I am adding a lot of value by importing my networks/contacts, initiating and maintaining high profile partnerships, working cross functionally within company eg with marketing and PR teams, pitching ideas for future projects, giving face lifts to older ones… what % should I ask for?
