Literally just went out this morning to try and finish up my shopping and buy wrapping paper, because I was out and didn’t know! All of it could have been avoided had I not waited so long, and yet here we are! Oh well, also have a lot of late nights coming up and a pledge to start much earlier next year.

I say the same every year lol
I've got most of the buying done, thankfully, so it's about time to get on to the wrapping. I looked last night and realized I should have enough paper to get through. I think I'll start the actual wrapping tonight and do a little each night. Some family members aren't arriving until after Christmas, so that takes some of the time pressure off, they'll get their presents when they arrive.

See it all worked out it comes and goes!
I buy presents throughout the year. Therefore, when I see something I know the individual would like I buy the item and store it away.
This year before Thanksgiving all presents were wrapped and tagged. To make it fun for the recipient I typed up individualized inspirational quotes. Then, printed the quotes on colorful cardstock paper and glued the cardstock to the tag.
To my surprise, the day after Thanksgiving my grandchildren placed all of the gifts under the Christmas tree.
If I wait until the last minute I overspend and have difficulty finding the special gift for the recipient - son, daughter-in-law, granddaughter (9 years old) and grandson (6 years old).
