Hey! Any Google folks know if it’s possible to negotiate fully remote if a contract role is hybrid? Personally, I don’t want to relocate and go to the office on a contract role given the current economy. Plus, I’m assuming contractors are the first to go in layoffs. I just think it’s a fair trade off if I’d be allowed to work fully remote. I’m also trying to have flexibility to manage my Airbnb business in a different country. Same time zone as the home office if I’d travel weeks at a time.

Candles (and a fire extinguisher)
They make fake “can” lights that are just flat LEDs if you can solve the wiring challenge.
Yeah, that’s really best done during construction or a full remodel (when you actually control what’s above and below your ceiling).
You can do track lighting so you don’t mess with the structural aspects of the building. Personally I hate track lighting so would just aim for specific chandeliers and sconces
Yup I’ve been eyeing the canless lights but it’s really the junction box which I’ve been told is the issue since those are thicker
Look into low voltage led. The wiring can be run without conduit. Essentially in-wall 14-2 speaker wire.
