Today, I resigned from TD to join Amazon. I was denied promotions twice in last 9 months and I felt tired. So when I resigned, I didn’t feel good after that. Not because I’m not excited about Amazon, but somewhere in my heart, I felt too comfortable at TD. Even though they stopped valuing me, I don’t know why I felt bad after resigning? Do I not have self-respect? Or I did right and I’m just overthinking? What else could it be?

He has been with a US bank in their rates trading division as a software developer- managing, supporting and developing software for pricing trade executions, risk management and reporting requirements for the trading desk. He wants to pivot out of banking to Amazon. Any inputs on what roles/team he can pivot to where his experience will be valued and appreciated? TIA
