Is working in VC Ops for a T10 Series A fund a good opportunity? This would be an internship preMba. I’m making a career shift as a vet and looking to land a VC investor role post b school (ideally HS) Anecdotally I understand seed and series A VC is very network based so this would be a chance to meet great folks, but ultimately not the investing experience I’m hoping for. I accepted my Amazon offer on 5/23 via email as told by the recruiter who also took down my social via telephone and send me a old school pdf to fill out for a my background screening. On 6/3 I received an email from Amazon’s version of docusign to sign my offer, and yesterday 6/8 I was notified by the recruiter that my start date would be delayed to 6/20 due to background not being completed. Doing 2nd of 3 interviews on Tuesday and looking for interview tips. I learned very quickly that I don't understand how the levels and total comp packages work. I'm interviewing for a Business Operations Specialist and when looking at salary ranges they are all over the place. Add in the changes a few months back and I now have NO idea where I should fall.
