Looking for advice. New to a role and role is new to org. Peers/Colleagues seem pretty territorial and this role has some overlap with work others are doing. Leadership not doing great job of creating role clarity and often feel like I'm being tasked w/same stuff others are tasked with or people dont understand why Im getting involved; as a result I feel like a middle man/not adding value, I'm struggling to find stride. I've always been a high performer, looking for ideas to help situation.

Hi everyone, I work at an early stage start up that just closed our round A. I just hired a director below me, however when it was time to come up with an offer I was removed from the conversation. The CO-founders said they’d handle the actual offer amount/equity. I joined early so salary is low but I have decent equity. Not sure if they didn’t want me seeing the offer or if this is normal for early start ups.
