Too vague to answer. What kind of consulting (tech, HR, M&A, Strat)? What type of firm (big 4, t2, mbb, boutiques)?
As a new grad expect low 70s base salary for big 4 strat. Generally promo to SC in 2yrs to make high 80s/low 90s. “Boutiques” like A&M can pay significantly higher because of their bonus structure but do more transaction focused work. Obviously MBB/OW/K pay well starting you at 100-110K new grad.
I've seen ranges from mid 60s to late 70s, but my info might be outdated, it was about 4 - 5 years ago at this point. As you go up the chain, Senior Con could be 80s to low 100s. Manager I've seen at around 130-150 range, and then onwards from there.
This still holds true. An experienced hire C could come in at a higher bracket
Accenture consulting analyst 2018 undergrad hire $70k base $7500 singing bonus. Crossed $100k base within 3 years. No idea about now.
