Looking for project management opportunities outside of pharma agency life… any suggestions?

I have an interview this week. How do I work on getting top compensation for the role?. I have done market, recruiter's and company comp reviews which are all different. How do I successfully pitch my view of compensation?
I have 4 years experience, Undergraduate, postgraduate diploma,professional certs in Financial crimes and Project Management. The companies in Canada pay so much cheaper compared to other 1st world countries

I was a part of a management program for the past 4 years in a mid-size local company; worked in a variety of functions: operations, sales, data, marketing, and audit. Thinking about pivoting to consulting, how would you advise me to go about this pivot?

Question for some of the senior partners on this bowl: do you mind sharing what does the the top end of partner comp look like? Is it like 2-3M annually? And how many years it took you to get there after becoming partner?

My company is giving me a reimbursement while I go to school. It’s capped to induce me to study part time. I decided to go full time. Pay the difference out of pocket so I can graduate quicker. I have been working as a manufacturing engineer tech for 4 years without a degree but this May I will get my bachelors in Mechanical Eng. Currently making 63k a year, hourly. Medicaid plans are so dysfunctional. Has anyone else experienced this? I feel like I’m being gas lighted after working for big commercial enterprises and now working on a Medicaid plan. I’ve never seen so much resistance to change or legit resistance to doing anything to improve operations.

First generation lawyers, do you ever have an issue with overwhelming requests for legal advice/help from family and friends who are unable to pay for legal services? Any advice for nice ways to decline assistance, especially when the person in need of help is close to you?

I’ve practiced litigation in DC for about 5+ years at a larger plaintiffs’ firm, and am considering a switch to a defense firm. Is there any insight to how many billable hours this would require, and how much time that would actually be? For reference, the firm has a 1900 billable hour requirement and the partner said I would have “no problem” fulfilling that based on the work they have.

If I didn’t have to take the MPRE previously but looking to waive into DC, when do I need to take the MPRE? Prior to applying or can I apply and submit my score following submission of my application to get the background investigation going?

I just had my 3 month performance evaluation. It went really well and I received a raise, but I’m worried if I should of negotiated it. It went from $41K to $45K. Is this reasonable? I’m considering I’ve been in the field for only 3 months.
