Hi Fishies,
Looking for any reviews/suggestions regarding Pubmatic. Most important is the tech stack and learning aspects.
Big data technologies(Scala-Spark etc) and Java.
Also in discussion with Impetus and Autodesk (via third party i.e. Applicantz).
CTC is not a concern right now as what they are offering is enough for me right now.
Any suggestions would be helpful

2/2 Plus sign in bonus (which should compensate for the RSUs I will not receive next year from the current company). Nice line manager, instantly likable and easy going, I also have inside intelligence that he is the best person ever. Caveat: they want me to go to the office three times a week, I currently work from home. Long story short: are 18% raise enough to move shop into the unknown, with pointers that the next gig is quite all right? Why do I have cold feet?
Totally makes sense. Think about it this way, if one of your team members had this opportunity I don’t think they would hesitate. You owe your organization nothing more than you have been providing. However you owe yourself opportunities to grow.
I took the job, btw :-) My decision was facilitated by a team workshop, all the time I was comparing the two companies and projects mentally, by the end on the day I had very “warm feet” ;-)
My feet were spot on. Company has a borderline abusive meeting culture and complete lack of work-life balance. Line manager introduced someone between us, someone has no idea what they are doing and isn’t nice at all. The role wasn’t as described (much bigger) and the PTO I had on my offer was in reality less. The project as it was done would have potentially damaged my reputation with the inspectorate. Stayed two months and resigned. Can’t go back to my previous position/company.
Of course hindsight is 20/20, but I do wish I had never left.
