Take the B4 offer — has a solid bump in comp and the brand name on your resume should be really helpful, since it seems like you’re early in your career
Yep, forgot to clarify, 2YOE. Thanks!

B4 brand will not open any new doors to other offers. Would take boutique for comp all else equal
Hmm then, personally, I would hesitate to join such a small place early in my career. I think you should only do boutique once you’ve decided on your speciality/industry focus and find a place that matches it
Boutique, can always jump later
That seems really low for SC at big4
I was offered 155k as a consultant at big4 for reference. Couple years more experience but low balled I thin
I think this comes down to your definition of “working in finance.” If your goal is top tier sales side, get into HSW and hustle from there. Most people who are eager to work in finance cite IB > HF / PE being the mid-term goal given the comp trajectory (e.g., 30 year old VPs at many reputable firms make more than average B4 partners).
Your second and third options don’t shed enough light on work focus, but it’s safe to assume you won’t be building LBO models and pitch decks. If you want that type of experience, you have to get in that market ASAP to avoid getting left behind (I.e., you can’t catch up to 22 year old who work 80 hours on models unless you yourself are doing that).
Personally, I would network my way into an entry level IB role at a boutique that would pay more.
Gotcha - well you have two other offers that you can use as negotiating leverage. The best tomento negotiate is when you can ask for the boundary of what’s reasonable and know you can walk away.
Unless you think this sinuous dream role, get $125k and/or keep networking until you land something better. May be hard to turn down, but if a better thing comes along in 90 days, you’ll start to question your path.
If it’s a halfway decent boutique go for that. You’ll be able to network and ingratiate yourself more quickly with the firms partners than at a B4 firm for more money too.
I was in a similar situation actually: made $80k TC, had offer from a T2 for $120k and an offer from a boutique for $145k + signing bonus but I opted for the T2 because of the brand and the fact that the boutique was meh

Need to know the boutique and company to really say, B4 are interchangeable for the most part
What service line would you join at the B4? That also implicates opportunity.
