The different faces of terrorism these days. 😔
Anyone take SHRM? How many hours did you study?
Ohhh how much I love PTO 🎊🎊
Finally found THE one, after over a year of searching and trying out at least 5 different ones!
A nice comfortable office chair.
https://ergochair.co/collections/chairs/products/ergonomics-mesh-chair-w-adjustable-headrest-and-armrest?variant=32511617597491
My criteria: mesh seat and back, arms, headrest
I tried cheap ones from Amazon. Expensive, second hand gaming chairs. Tried HM Aeron (second hand) and while I didn't like the bulk and the general design, I was sold on the mesh seating. I wanted to get the ErgoChair 2 from autonomous, but it doesn't have mesh seat.
AMA.
Sorry Cubbies, better luck next time

Just briefly searched it; Canada's labor force participation rate is a bit higher than the US.
So, if you took (# ppl working) / (total country population), it's only slightly better in the US
I wouldn't call it a trick, but it definitely doesn't paint the full picture
Perhaps Canada having roughly a third of its population being foreign born is reflective of an immigration policy failure, that has led to an oversaturation of labor supply, challenges in housing supply, an ultra competitive job market, that leads to reduced wages.
The most significant factor is the state of the broader economy, including the post-Covid inflation of the past few years and all the current tariff nonsense.
and that’s the officially reported number
Take off the tinfoil hat and go outside.
Chief
Is 1 in 14 people unemployed being reported using the metric or imperial system? If the former, you have to convert to imperial first before comparing to US statistics.
Rising Star
US is probably pretty close when you count people who have fallen off the unemployment dockets.
Labor force participation and part time due to economic reasons have been pretty flat for a while. Canada is higher.
7% isn’t low but taking into account 3-4% transitory I don’t necessarily think that’s a “scary” figure we should be overly worried about no?
What are you talking about bro, 7% is terrible for a developed country... so many people impacted
Another 10 million Indians and I’m sure it’ll be fine
Statistics are racist?
Thanks Trudeau
You sure do talk a lot for someone that has no dog in the fight. Seems you're feigning non partisanship and retreated to that stance once I posted the Trudeau blackface photo.
I never said the unemployment rate was the end all be all. You made a strawman attack based on that. Literally the only thing I said was "Thanks Trudeau". Then you went on some inane rant.
Like I said, the unemployment rate is downstream of fiscal and immigration policy.
Yes you did cherry pick when you gave Trudeau the excuse of macro issues but didn't allow for the same grace to Harper dealing with the GFC.
Great let's compare post covid performance amongst G7 countries. We have been the bottom in GDP per capita growth in the past 10 years.
Exogenous event or not, it was poorly handled by Trudeau. He's done terribly versus his peers across other governments and probably against Harper too.
IDK man they were really excited about sticking it to the Americans
