I have an offer for $130k for a senior attorney position in a boutique L&E firm. Also have a recruiter who thinks she can get me into another for $150-170k. Both are more than I’ve ever made (Denver, 17 yrs of experience but completely different practice areas). Any tips for countering the $130k offer for more using the other potential offer while not risking a complete withdrawal of the current offer? There’s no such thing as side projects, in my eyes. Every project is an opportunity to display your creativity, and the few you’re most proud of make it to your book. Generally, the consensus these days is that we want our advertising to not look/feel like advertising. So, why should you be concerned to separate what was and wasn’t “advertising?”
