Hello anyone reading this! I wanted to ask for any realistic, recommended job positions from someone with more knowledge and experience. I am graduating this December with my BBA and am ready to leave the job I’m in now. I’ve been applying for a range of positions I qualify for and nothing so far, which I expected. I have 3 years of experience in management operations but also have 6 years of experience with child care, is that why I may be getting rejected? Maybe I’m overthinking my resume? 😅

Hi, I’m currently an undergraduate freshman studying computer science at Rutgers university. I was wondering if I could get a referral for any freshman internships related to CS and/or leads for companies that offer such internships.
I have experience in Python, SQL and and R, along with a few personal projects.

I have a job offer in Australia and the company is offering to apply for a TSS visa for me. But they can't give me any idea on timeline. I've heard anything from a month to 9 months. Has anyone here gone through this and knows how long it would take during Covid times?

Partners: I’m a sr. associate managing multiple cases without a whole lot of oversight. A few of the cases I am managing are very large, very fast, and very contentious. I try to be as immersed in the details as I can, but can’t know everything. I rely on others to give me accurate and actionable facts. Lately, the actions I have been taking have been based on wrong, inaccurate, or incomplete info. I then get reamed in M&Cs and look like an idiot. [Cont. in comments]

Working on some law firm applications tonight and it sucks that I know that I am so capable and have a strong work ethic but firms can’t see beyond grades or the fact that I didn’t go to a t14 law school or prestigious undergrad. I’ve worked twice as hard and feel like I’ve barely even gotten half as much. It’s discouraging sometimes especially because I worked so hard with pretty much no guidance (first gen, poc, low-income) to get into college and do well and then get into a t30 law school

Hypo: client says they agreed to use a prior agreement another firm drafted as precedent for a new deal prior to engaging you. It’s maybe the most poorly written contact you’ve ever seen.
