Spoke with the founder of a major investment bank today. Both he and wife are working, obviously very senior positions, despite having close to 500M NW and 20M Manhattan home. I’d have stopped long before that. Rich people puzzle me.

I am eagerly trying to find a role in account management. I’m at a senior level- what I see and hear out there is that I am too senior (I will do account director level if the need be). I am concerned that by now all scopes and corresponding hires are in place. Please, if anyone can help with leads or intros it will mean the world to me. 😞

Hi! I am about to go through a background check with finger prints (located in NY). I have an arrest with no charge that comes up when I do fingerprints. I have a document stating that I was not charged. Should I wait until it’s flagged (if it will be) or should I be proactive and once I submit my fingerprint, explain my story and attach the appropriate documents. The niche that I work in is decently small so my current place found out about my offers and interviews.
