Most people underestimate what they can achieve in 10 years and overestimate what they can achieve in 10 days. Investing rewards patience more than perfection. Stay focused on the long game.

My investing strategy is just to DCA into an S&P 500 index fund and keep buying and holding. If I understand correctly, the sole disadvantage this has compared to a tax sheltered retirement account is that the quarterly dividends will be taxed? But even so, they’ll be taxed at a lower qualified dividend rate since I’m automatically reinvesting those dividends.
