I would like to know as well.
i have, but not on my face. I always had really bad acne on my chest and back, and after accutane wanted something to help accelerate the scars fading (they were all bright red so it kinda looked like the pimples were still there). paid $700 for my chest and entire back, took a few weeks but I was very pleased with my results, didn’t get rid of them entirely but pretty noticeable fading of the bright reds that really sped up the healing process. they may suggest you do multiple sessions based on your situation but I’m really glad I did it
yeah it was for PIH (post inflammatory hyperpigmentation). i think they have diff types of lasers for various uses though, always best to get a consultation from a derm or reputable esthetician
I’ve done clear and brilliant in part for some pigmentation from acne scars and it’s been great! But you really do need a few treatments to see results.
Yrs
Ive done microdermabrasion (both with and without PCP/bloodplatlets) which didnt work well for me. Those were about 250-400 per treatment and I did 6.
Ive also done a Chemical Peel, which was okay - dont remember the cost but over 200 and under 1k
What worked WONDERS for me was a Fraxel Laser ($2k-4k depending on state and location)
Fraxel gave amazing results but its very intense. Ive done it twice and your face bleeds A LOT the first week and it burns so you have to sincerely fight the urge to itch. The second time I had it done (out of only two times and spaced a year apart) the location actually prescribed me oxy which helped me avoid the need to scratch. Plus if you do fraxel you MUST stay out of the sun 3-6 months and then religiously use sunscreen until 6-9months have passed regardless of cloudy day, winter, etc.
@Deloitte1 Fraxel is a onetime thing but it worked such wonders on me I did it again a year later
i started skin laundry 2 months ago, doing signature laser & thermo fractional 1x each monthly (membership monthly $250) i’m seeing my scars get a little lighter now while also using different serums. they said it’ll take at least 5 sessions total to see results. i’m going to do a 3rd month of doing both then start doing signature laser only 1x/month (membership monthly $150) per their recommendation. lmk if you want me to refer you so you can get a deal on your first one!
yes, helps with hyperpigmentation! i also got a traditional facial with my aesthetician in east village (june first skin) a couple of weeks after my last thermo fractional at skin laundry and that took my skin to the next level.
