Damn that’s harsh... I was outcast because I was Jewish at a Catholic school. As soon as I wasn’t attending mass with the group I was becoming friends with I was ghosted
This is actually a little surprising to me. I am orthodox Jewish and went to non-Jewish college and law school. We had our catholic friends over for Shabbas meals (and still do occasionally), and we went to friends events. Not mass, but choir performances and the like.
I'm not a particularly social person, and I transferred after 1L year, so I've fallen out of touch with many colleagues, but I never felt that religion or income (I spent almost 3 years looking for a full time job) had any impact on my relationship with friends.
