My Accenture Offer Letter (OL) said that I will be paid a Joining Bonus(JB) of Rs.X subject to me joining on or before my DoJ. I would be able to join 10 days prior to the DoJ and I contacted the HR and got the revised OL with new DoJ and Rs.Y as JB. When I called the HR to enquire about the change in JB amount, she said it wouldn't be applicable for me since I'm joining JUST 10 days prior to the earlier DoJ. Then why does the OL say that I will be paid JB if I join on or before DoJ?
