Hey! When you list the team, always put their role (you do sometimes). And the non-work first link needs a sentence of set up at the top. Nice job!
Thank you!
My two critiques are from a UX perspective.
1) Take people to your work right away without them having to guess what project they might want to see first.
I’d add six thumbnails underneath your intro on the homepage to help give users a taste of your work and allow them an easier funnel to click through.
Maybe even under the thumbnails you can put something like:
Toyota Racing & Motor Sports (H2)
Radio (H4 or H5)
2) I’m not a real huge fan of your work set up as a slider. They’re not set up on a time lapse, and again it’s more clicks. Have you tried just posting your projects one after the other?
I think it would be easier especially since your print campaigns have no more than 3-5 pieces.
Nice work overall.
That’s very helpful, thank you
I think you should decide whether you want to be an UX writer or an advertising copywriter. Selling yourself as both is selling each skill set short.
One of the best pieces of advice I got was “only put in your portfolio what you want to do more of.” And it doesn’t need to be on there at all. I’ve spent a year working on banners. I have no banners in my book. I do have the big award winning campaigns and activations. Because that’s what I want to do.
I'd merge your 'about me' and 'home' pages, then as someone else said make 'work' your default homepage as it's most important.
I'm viewing on mobile so may be bias but can you add a left/right scroll between pages? It's a little annoying having to open the menu page every time I want to look at a new project.
