It’s crazy to see a lot of these companies let their employees go. I hope you are not one of them. I understand the nervousness and anxiety all too well because the same thing happened to me a few years ago. I deal with anxiety by working out, enjoying my favorite hobbies, and being around loved ones.

I am an senior associate at a small (8-10 attorneys) immigration firm in NYC. My base is 110k and I get 30% for the cases and clients I bring in. My revenue was 370k last year and I did 250k till April this year.

My issue is, I have so much firm's work that I have hard time to work on my cases/clients. It feels like my cases are supposed to be done after hours (like after 6 pm). My work hours are crazy. I feel this is unfair and since my firm's taking 70% of my sales. Should I ask for a raise?
