GDS folks, a colleague of mine has defaulted on timesheets (more than 3) at senior level and was rated as Progressive. Is that the sole factor for not him not being a rated as differentiator?

I posted this somewhere else before I remembered that I am in this bowl :) so, I changed jobs 6-7 months ago and I am realizing it is not a good fit. Leadership seem to not want to hear the truth so people tell them what they want to hear and if you don’t middle management gets pissed at you. I am seriously thinking about looking somewhere else. My question is how do you answer the “why are you looking to leave” question without bad mouthing your current company?

Is it normal for people in our profession to be so closely monitored by management, or is that just a thing at my workplace? Feels kinda suffocating…

I'm a cashier. We just got a new manager, and she's making things really hard for us. She starts work at 4:30am and leaves around 2:30pm, but she still expects us to stay until 6pm and work on the weekends! She gives us really long shifts and doesn't give us much time for breaks. So embarrassed. I literally had one job to do today which was to schedule a client and give and take her paperwork when she came in. Totally called her by the wrong name today AND gave her the wrong paperwork. She was really nice about it but I feel like my boss was disappointed and I'm disappointed in myself. I had a divorce mediation last week. The client wasn’t thrilled with the results (is anyone after mediation?) but we left with the two things she wanted: the house and her pension. She thanked me. My office sent the bill a few days later, and client wrote my boss a very long, angry email claiming I gave her incompetent representation. It’s annoying that almost every sentence they write has errors in it. So, I’d like to provide practical tips, more than just “improve your English”.

I finally got diagnosed with ADD, inattentive type, at 28 years old. I’ve known I had depression and anxiety for years, but the symptoms and treatment never added up.
