I am considering uprooting my family and moving to TN for a better quality of life. I am having one heck of a time trying to find a new job while states away, while working full time. Does anyone have any pointers? The thought of this move makes me wish I could just quit now.

My background is in tech transactional. I joined a cybersecurity SaaS startup at the end of last year and now also handle more generalist matters in addition to all things commercial-related. I have a number of books on contracts that I’ve found super helpful over the years (The Tech Contracts Handbook, A Manual of Style for Contract Drafting, Sign Here, etc.). Thoughts about Cloud Support Engineer -Security role

I’m completely new to Google cloud but I’m from CS background. I know programming, SQL, networking concepts, operating systems concepts etc. How long will it take me to prepare and pass GCP solutions architect certification? What’s your recommendation for preparing?

Currently interviewing for a role at Amazon that is listed as a CW position, but I have direct experience in the product and capabilities this role is seeking, and the hiring manager is moving me forward. What is the likelihood that if I tried to negotiate from a CW to FTE, I would get the position?

What was the hardest section to get through for REG studying? Did it then pay off in the exam?

Is there a way to go into an AE role with just SDR experience at a different company?

Hey folks, I am interested in sustainability and the entire finance aspect of it. However my exp in th area is woefully inadequate. I'm trying to read up. Currently in the finance transformation team at EY (not related at all to sustainability). And no background studies wise.

Even without LinkedIn, I see a lot of people younger than me in much better roles. They started off with relevant jobs right out of college. I graduated in 2009 when the economy tanked and worked in retail for years before I was finally able to land in corporate. Does anybody else struggle with this as well? I’m constantly comparing myself to others who are younger than me.

I'm SVP/strategy for a PR agency. I moved into PR, Healthcare, and Strategic Planning only 3 years ago. An agency recruiter is trying to convince me to move into a GSVP account role, assuring me "at that level it's all strategy." (I dont think she understands the words she's using. Or that I'm qualified). But long-term, knowing account roles are so much more plentiful than brand planning in PR, I'm wondering if I should start thinking about account. Anyone here moved from strategy to account?

My Senior Manager quit on us a couple of months ago, now my manager just did as well yesterday.

I'm in a small firm, where there is no one with tenure anymore. The new Senior Manager just started and does not know the clients either.

Last busy season was hell because we were short staffed (only 3 of us), and I fear that next one will be even worse because we are in a market where we do not have a ton of people we could hire.

This feels like a new job and I'm not liking it at all.

Some days I feel like I’ll never be able to find love because I come from a complicated childhood, have a lot of problems and, I want someone who would understand me. But I don’t think I could ever open up to another person because it feels like I’m trauma-dumping despite this being a core part of my identity and I want them to know how I lived and survived til today.
