Any one familiar with comp for a Portfolio Associate roll at PIMCO on their mortgage backed securities team? I’m looking at an offer and want make sure I’m in line with the average comp for the company and industry. Only 4 months of experience and offer is 98k w/ 10-20% bonus plus 15k relo/ sign on. Looking at Glassdoor, bonuses seem higher than quoted by the hiring manager. (No written offer yet they say they’re still working on it)

Did you sign any contracts or bonds with them? If not, run free!

If you signed any sort of retention agreement, it’s very likely
They usually make u sign a contract ex ante - personally if I leave within one year I have to repay everything back
Have you completed all levels? If you just start paying for one level, it is not that much money for a company

They usually have the terms of these things spelled out in the company policy on education reimbursement so you should check that. Most companies have clawbacks on these things if you leave less than 12 months after payment.
How about you stop having the company pay and pay it yourself? Given that you're planning to leave, I don't know how you can think of this as anything more than stealing.
Right. Keep telling yourself that.
