My family owns a regional company in the automotive sector. We are going to look into potentially getting PE investment for expansion. Would it be best to reach out to PE firms directly or go through an investment bank?

You’re almost always better off going through a bank. The value of a bid process / fundraise process almost always pays for itself

wouldn’t that depend on scale?

Worth considering private credit as well. You can always reach out to PE firms directly or a broker. PE is probably going to want majority stake

Talk to the banks. If you’ve got someone who will take your mandate on a contingent basis then you should be able to raise

I’m in LMM PE. Use a bank.

Also: auto is not the most attractive industry since EVs. Have realistic valuation expectations. Non control, auto end market, small size, etc.

I’m in LMM PE, feel free to DM me. We are happy to look at deals that don’t come thru banks

Do I file the stip in state court still? Does MDL have jurisdiction over the hospital? Can a hospital even be part of a MDL lawsuit? Very confused! Thank you!!!
