Hi fishes,
It’s my 1st switch so please guide me. Hr from Siemens called yesterday to discuss salary they offered 6 and said we have this band only. I said I have an offer of 7.3 so atleast match this. Now I want to ask for joining bonus as its Work from office. Shall I wait for offer letter to come then ask or shall I call today itself before getting OL? Also I wanted to negotiate more for salary. Please share if somehow I can? Any suggestions Infosys Tata Consultancy ZS Associates KPMG Microsoft

Yea you are dealing with a weak man, unfortunately. If he is actually your husband you form a two person circle. Do not let other people in this circle, ESPECIALLY FAMILY. And doesn’t have the balls to get them to pay back… tsk tsk tsk.
You married someone that failed to understand that YOU are the family now, not his (probably entitled and bratty siblings/parents). Until he learns this he is going to continue giving money away. I bet he gives money to homeless on the side of the street 🤢
Background- my husband is from UP bihar side , so it’s common for them to ask money, but they are never supportive in terms of finance, emotionally or mentally . They only call for money , and they have joint family . Money once given will never be returned back. I am also earning and my family supported financially in buying car and land, emotionally and physically in raising my baby from his birth. I am also contributing in car loan if he contributes in land and other finances and whenever he runs out of money . Rest of money I am saving for kid as his salary is not saved much ! He values his family a lot , but he don’t value me or kid! During fight he is ready to leave both of us! He is aware that people are using but it’s his family

Because it’s such a cultural norm to offer financial assistance to family, can you still offer something but drastically cut back?
Let them know you’re in a different position financially now and therefore you can only afford x amount of money?
Yes, I have started adding more money to my SIPs but in-case I have money (bank balance) and he runs out of money . He would expect me to land him money, if I don’t it will ruin our relationship, but he can’t ask his family to payback! I mean it is affecting our relationship.
