How many of you are managing a caseload of 25+ people on a weekly basis? What strategies do you use to make this longterm sustainable?

Massachusetts freelance but go to NY/travel for work occasionally. I am looking at marketplace insurance and leaning towards a Tufts plan. Anyone have problems with Tufts? The BCBS higher cost but there does not appear to be a good reason. I’m afraid of some of the smaller places/never heard of. Transitioning off Cobra with United Health. Anyone have advice?

Recently received my CSW license and have started working as a therapist at an outpatient clinic. Is a starting salary of $64,500 fair? I am supposed to aim for 28 billing hours (get paid if clients show or not) a week with 12 hours of admin time for other tasks. Thanks for any input.

What are some things that are helping you avoid burnout recently? I've been spending a lot more time outside, blocking off my schedule more consistently, and even taking extra days off. Slowly I'm starting to feel more like myself!

I think there's this myth that therapists have all their own sh*t figured out, and for me at least I know that's far from true (hopefully it isn't just me). On the contrary, I think we should be leading by example!

Best way to deal with family members who treat you like the family therapist? Over thanksgiving my aunt disclosed some intense stuff to me and asked me for my help/opinion, and it was uncomfortable. I don't feel good saying just don't talk to me about stuff like that, but I also am not paid to give therapy to my own family and the things they tell me put me in weird situations with other family members. LCSW 50k loan repayment- Has anyone been granted a contract through the National Health Service Corps Loan Repayment Program? Hello, I’m an LMSW in Michigan. I have 15 years of experience in the field as a clinician, supervisor, and an administrator. I am feeling burnt out and unsure of my future. I have worked mainly in the Community Mental Health and the VA Health systems, hence my fatigue. I’ve flirted with private practice work in the past, but my spouse has been worried about not having affordable healthcare and benefits that each system provides. Is it worth the jump? Am I overthinking things?

How do you deal with imposter syndrome? I'm a new therapist and I work with a bunch of women who have been doing this for ages. They're all really sweet, but I can't help feeling like I'm way out of my league. I mostly see younger clients which I guess works in my favor, but I just feel like I'm totally incompetent compared to the women I work with.

Am I the only social worker/therapist who doesn’t work well with being assigned to do last minute paperwork?
