My mother is in town from Australia and she's been saying she wants a really hearty meal local to Singapore. She's all about trying new cuisines, but her American son has failed her and tried nothing but Western and fast food from here. Where can I take her for dinner, so both she and I can try great Singaporean food for the first time? Would love it if the recommendations are limited to Bukit Batok area!
