So your employer got mad at you because of the things you needed faxed from the front desk guys? Is this correct? I am sorry, some people don't know how to work as a team. I would explain the situation to the employer or do the fax yourself; something is not worth the trouble.
Got it.. I am so sorry this was the situation. If you would feel better in the other job, I will support you. You deserve to be respected.
What do you mean he throws it on the floor? Like he literally throws your sticky note on the floor? That seems extremely weird, but I'm not sure I'm understanding exactly. I would talk to your employer about how to navigate this kind of disrespect from a front desk employee and find a solution together. Sometimes you have to teach your bosses how you want to be managed.
Seems very dysfunctional, I'm not sure what else to say. If your manager won't listen to you or try to meet you halfway, it might be time to start applying elsewhere. This sounds incredibly frustrating
Since you possibly have another job to go back to I would make sure I find someone that could be a good solid reference in I decided to leave and then report at a level higher than your immediate manager. Being care to just state the facts and how it is causing disruption in the workflow and affecting the image of the “company” (not me)
Another option is to help find someone qualified and offer to help train them. Otherwise I would do “the thing”. Remember someone else is always watching the good you do. I’m not talking about God either.
WOW! I'm just amazed because what you've explained about the manager not want to communicate with you and its just what I say; sounds like a militant manager and the behavior of the other staff is aggressive to throw something in floor and management gets mad at you. That's insight aggressive behavior. Well if it was me, I might take a slight right past the lunchroom and into HR.
Militant: combative and aggressive in support of a political or social cause, and typically favoring extreme, violent, or confrontational methods.

Thanks for your response. It makes me feel better about the situation. Its unfortunate that people think they can treat you however they want just because they pay you. I think staying is out of the question and new job is the way to go
Who still uses faxes??
