You cannot undo a month of progress in a single day, even if you tried 🙃 drink some water, go to bed, wake up and have a healthy breakfast, do some light exercise. BAM! Back on track 😌
You’rean angel A1
It’s ok when you mess up. Just get right back on track tomorrow.
God bless you
Your body is more resilient than you think. When you fast or cut calories for a prolonged period of time, your body starts to adjust and slow down its metabolism which is why progress for both weight loss and strength training slow after the first couple months.
That’s why in nutrition, they emphasize the concept of a refeed at least once a week but definitely for a couple days every 3-4 weeks to keep your body on its toes and prevent it from adjusting. Believe it or not, you actually have marginal fat gain (if you eat unhealthy) or muscle loss (if you cut hard) in this immediate period so don’t stress.
You’re doing great if you’ve made sustained progress over a month. Keep it up! Treat yourself every now and then but be mindful of the bigger overall goal.
What’s a refeed?
You forgive yourself, get back up and go after another month of weight loss until you’ve met your goal!
Also nothing wrong with drinking and eating sugar while on your journey. It’s all about portions and control
Drink more
Start fresh tomorrow
Progress not perfection. As long as you’re moving forward.

You just go back to healthy eating starting with your next meal. A slip up or occasional indulgence is fine.
Just don’t let a slip up turn into a downward spiral.
Yes, don’t regret but just immediately get back on track. Try one or two days of IF. Workout a bit more but don’t go off track.

You were likely very glucose deprived. I’d consider eating more fruit if I were in your shoes.
You have to allow yourself a cheat day every so often. Now that that is over get back to your hard work and don’t worry

What you do is start in this moment. Not yesterday or last night - that’s gone. Today, this moment IS your life.
What you don’t do is thrown in the towel abs binge for a solid month 😉
Punish yourself over and over. Self-flagellate until you feel two inches tall. That way you'll never want to try again.
Kidding.
Give yourself a break and try again tomorrow.
A months progress doesn’t go away in one day. Get back up and go back to your regimen. We all break from it from time to time. You’re not going to live like a saint .. sugar and alcohol free for the rest of your life to just be a certain weight. Focus on being healthy and doing everything in moderation rather than going into a deep binge and regretting it later.
What everyone said but also think of it as a nice little break for your body. Sounds weird but I’ve found having a say like this helps my progress
