Okay yeah I stand by what I said earlier - I don’t think you really have a clear answer on who gets the right to renew without the other person.
You can bring up the fact that she sublet illegally and made money off of it, but that’s really more of a moral plea and can backfire. I do think pushing for “hey I really would like to continue living here as I have for the past X amount of time” is best… but you don’t necessarily have grounds to kick her out either. The landlord would likely kick both of you out if you were to out her.
I think it’ll end up being a both-or-no one kind of situation if you can’t resolve this peacefully.
