One of my favorite podcasts did an episode on Adderall. Most of the info won’t be new, but there were some interesting snippets in there. I also thought it was a useful educational resource to share with your family and friends.

Does Natwest bank pay as competitive as Morgan Stanley Deutsche Bank. I mean Associate in MS and DB ranges from 20 to 30 lakh. However when I tried applying to Natwest expecting 40% hike (30 lpa) on current pay of 21 lakh. They straightway rejected me and said its not in their budget. Is there any financial firm which can pay as competitive to Mumbai banks. Barclays Deutsche Bank Natwest group BlackRock
My probation was supposed to be of 6 months (i.e until June 2022), but today I received a notification in Workday that I have passed my probation.
How is this possible?
I was planning to resign within probation for 30days notice period. But now this happened. Will this change my notice period to 90days??

I worked at SG before and I'm currently at NatWest. My experience was way better at SG. They were introducing some changes when I left, like 4 days WFO, but I'd still pick SG over NatWest based on my project experience.
The only major benefit at NatWest is the 12 weeks of paternity leave after 6 months. Most projects are legacy, there's very little focus on engineering practices, and you'll spend 3-4 hours a day in calls. Ironically, people keep talking about being more efficient while sitting in all these meetings.
One example. In my first week, I was asked to go through a massive amount of onboarding videos, most of which were outdated and not even relevant. Then the manager gave me a task to understand a system that's been around for more than 10 years and come up with improvement plans for it. I genuinely thought they wanted to improve something, so I started reading docs, debugging, and trying to understand how things worked. Two days later, I was asked why it wasn't done yet. When I explained that understanding a decade old application takes time, it became pretty obvious the exercise was more about evaluating me than actually solving a problem. When I asked if there was any particular direction they had in mind, the response was, "If I have to tell you that, why did I hire you?" That pretty much told me everything I needed to know about the project.
At SG, stuff like this was usually more collaborative. People actually tried to help each other and cared about doing things properly. Here, it often feels like the focus is on evaluating people rather than improving the project or the team. Of course, this is just my experience, and teams can vary a lot. If I were you, I'd ask the hiring manager all the questions you have and make an informed decision. Don't go by Glassdoor ratings alone.
This is true. Honestly exactly this is even i felt, i was in SG i believe Salary was only thing i had to take the switch but given the same salary SG is far ahead in technology and collaboration within the team is better
SG ..
