1) I know that most of you will say that buying an expensive engagement ring is a waste and bad, etc. so let’s start with the assumption that I don’t care and it’s happening
2) does it make sense to finance an engagement ring purchase or buy in cash? If financing, how much would you have to put down for a ~$30k ring? (If you’re upset by this number just replace ring with car or education or wedding or whatever you feel good about lol)

Got a 30% salary bump, via an offer for Senior Consultant S&O from Deloitte. Currently underpaid at EY Advisory. I'm MBA and this year is my promotion year at EY for Manager. What to do? Get demoted and move to D? Or counter at EY? Even if EY matches my salary, and promote me to Manager, I will be an EY Manager with a Deloitte SC salary, and probably won't be able to go to D in the future. What do you think? I have built up a good relationship with my Partner and SMs at EY though.

I am used to working in a place where we always worked by taking help from others and here it is sort of assumed that we would be knowing everything right from day 1. Hello fish, I’m wanting to move from London to Singapore at Manager level in operating model design. Anybody have any recommendations of companies (aside Big4) that are sponsoring visas at the moment, or good international recruitment agencies? Seems highly network driven from what I’ve seen.

I already got a job offer in Singapore and had submitted all the docs required to HR. My question would be how long is the EP's processing time? And what are the chances to have my EP application rejected? I have 4 years of experience at my current firm, is that too little?
