Joined a new firm at the start of this year but it’s not a good fit and I want to leave for a different role type. Will it look bad to potential employers if I leave this company after 6 months? I was with my prior employer for 2.5 years before this.

I’m currently interviewing for a specialist role at a mid tier professional services firm and have stumbled across the previous incumbent’s profile on LinkedIn (who left to join a competitor). Thinking of connecting and asking for the inside track on the role. Any reason I shouldn’t? Could it be considered unprofessional?

I have attended two interviews with cognizant for the same role. From that, I have got an offer letter from one panel and I am discussing with the HR about to make some salary revise.
Unfortunately, the second panel also processed my profile and it got short listed and they come back for a talk to process the offer letter. Now the first panel HR called me and asked about the second process why it got happened.
Does this results in any drawback for the offer letter i have got already?

I don’t have the relieving letter as of now.. it will take some time for my current organisation to release it.. how can i ho forward with the onboarding???
