Make $120k Accenture now doing tech implementations, just got offer 200k TC EY business consulting. I love my job, have a great WLB (working 20 hours per week, no travel, clear path to M in about 1.5 years) - am I an idiot for even contemplating staying? What I would be doing is more PPT/functional vs Onestream/technical which I do now.

120k for a lead individual contributor?
That’s within range but on the lower end. Not entirely unfair though.
You can push for $130k

But also, don’t give up on the $120k either. Don’t push too hard.
I make 130k base with 2 years of consulting experience and I live in miami. You just have to sell yourself like you know what you’re doing and you know how to lead.
I am the only person at my company that lives in Miami so I don’t want to say the name. It was a condition for my employment.

I would take it then figure out a tech jump after. you're undervalued to the skillset but not in the eyes of B4
If only the tech industry was as easy to get into
Congratulations OP! You have been offered 120K in which location?
Thanks! In the DC region
Did EY mention year end bonus?

When you get your employment offer, it should have that. It is always amenable, but takes more rounds of review after it has been initially approved.
To help you; consulting industry standard for lead individual contributor bonuses is at ~20% annual performance bonus. It rises in management significantly.
SA3 in a T1 city getting only 106K. 120K is a good compensation.
