Just wanted to brag a little. This may not be much for some but I’m super excited. I graduated with a B.A in chemistry July 2022 and I start my job this Monday with a salary of 60K! This is the most money I’ve ever made 😱😱. Really proud of myself even though I know some people would rather make more. I’m hoping to hit 100K within 3-4 years. Don’t give up recent grads!!

I feel like all of my friends who work in tech are very open about their starting salaries and the increases each year. I am going to work in public accounting and I feel like when I look up how much I will make after being promoted or early promoted it’s very cryptic. Wondering if anyone has had experience with the tech excellence program at Booz Allen? I was hired a month ago in commercial consulting and now they are asking me to do the tech excellence program. I read some pretty bad things about it and am pretty confused

3L with mostly A’s and B’s. I am having the worst luck trying to find work for after school and my experience working with lawyers has left me completely dejected. I cannot get an interview to save my life. I was so excited to get an externship summer after 2L with a small business and IP firm only to get yelled at on the phone a few times for not doing an assignment correctly. Mind you, I was working FOR FREE as it was a school connected externship. That made me never want to work in the law.

Just graduated with Aerospace Engineering degree. I am interviewing for multiple positions at once with different companies. One gave me an offer and they want me to get back to them within 2 days. I still have other interviews scheduled and some for higher paying jobs (around 90k) What should I do?
I do like the company that gave me an offer but their base pay was 80k and they went up to 85k. Is asking for them to match the 90k too much? The position is associate systems engineer.
