What should my requested salary be for a Senior Intelligence Analyst position with CrowdStrike ? I have a bachelors degree and 5 years of experience as an intelligence analyst. Current salary is 56k in NC, but when I was in DC I was making 86k (big locality change)… which makes me confused on what I should expect for a remote job.

I want to become a more competitive applicant but not sure where to start. Are there any certificates, skills, or knowledge that I should be learning in my free time?

I'm sorry, OP. Unfortunately, this sounds pretty normal. I wouldn't doubt it if the attendees were just "required" to attend. I'm sure you were absolutely killing it, homie!
I'd be more than happy to see your presentation and provide a legitimate reaction if that would be helpful!
That's hard to hear, it's awful when things like that happen. But they do happen. People have gotten rude to the point where they think nothing of just not paying attention. What I'd suggest is to think hard what you might have done to keep people's attention, as it's possible you could have kept their attention but didn't. It's also possible they're just rude and there's nothing you could have done to keep then engaged.
Sorry that happened to you- without full context, it does seem a bit rude. How many people were you presenting to? A small group should react and ask questions more. In a large group, people tend to sink into the anonymity of the crowd and expect others to react. You could always bring up the issue with a mentor, colleague or supervisor who understands the crowd. It may have nothing to do with you.
I know it sucks but it is normal. People only care about their work lol
I’m sorry this happened to you. Having done and sat through more of these, I know the thing that always kept me engaged the most was when I was told there would there would be “a test at the end.” Having a portion of the presentation, interspersed throughout, where you purposely engage the audience forces them to focus. Even including them in the presentation with quotes you’ve heard from them. If they hear their name, they’ll listen more.
Suggestion: start your presentation with a real attention grabber. Leave the "drier" info for the body of the PowerPoint. Use Copilot or ChatGPT to help write your presentation, it usually suggests so.me good ideas. And don't except everyone to be interested, managers need to multitasking as a general function, the don't have enough hours in the day anyway!
Maybe looking at their phones the whole time. You should've had a pop quiz at the end. maybe a warning there'd be a quiz so they'd have to pay attention :)
I'm sorry this happened.
The decorum for professionalism has slipped significantly. I would ask for feedback from your supervisor to get a litmus test on where he/ she thinks you landed. In addition, I would seek other external entities to present a modified version of your presentation deck if its not confidential in nature. For example, a local Chamber of Commerce or a TedX talk. This would provide you with the opportunity to share your hard work with other business professionals and give your company additional exposure.

This sucks and I’m typically the one multitasking hard to get things done lately. I agree with the advice set forth take pauses in between for questions and engaging feedback. I hate to be the one presenting myself but I keep it brief and let the slides talk and keep the conversation natural and active.
Sorry this happened and I know can be very disappointing. Another recommendation is to have polls/knowledge checks incorporated into your presentation. Also, pause every so often to ask questions. You can also come up with your own questions or ask ChatGPT to help with questions that "came in" via chat.
