Well ideally they are treating at a facility that knows how to deal with no fault billing, which many providers either simply do not know how to do or don’t want to be bothered with it. I have a feeling this particular PT did not submit bills properly and just doesn’t want to deal with it. Find a facility that deals with NF. I’d imagine you have referral relationships with such places already
If the client signed an assignment of benefits with the provider the provider has to deal with the no fault denials via arb or litigation.
The adjuster can’t “refuse” to pay. The can deny bills and those bills can be challenged by the provider or your client.
