First, you can talk to your supervisor about the situation and see if they have any advice or suggestions. Second, you can try to be more assertive when you offer your input and make sure that your senior team member knows that you value their opinion and respect them. Finally, you can try to build relationships with other members of the team who may be more receptive to your ideas. By doing these things, you can hopefully create a better working environment where your input is valued.
If you feel like you're not given a chance to contribute, then speak to your manager about it. Explain that you would like to be more involved in the project, and ask what you can do to make that happen. If your manager is open to your suggestions, then work together to come up with a plan that makes everyone happy.
If you feel like your input is not being valued, you can start by trying to have a conversation with the senior member of the team. You can let them know that you would like to be more involved and see if they have any ideas on how you can do that. If they don't seem interested in working with you, you may need to look for another opportunity where your input will be appreciated.
