I have a friend who was let go a few months into his first job after college (reason: the manager felt like he wasn't grasping the training content to the level that was expected). He's worried about if he should put the experience on his resume anyway, if he does will recruiters ask why he had such a short time at this place, and what will recruiters think if he explains he was let go. I’d to get a job in a small architecture firm or work for a developer to help build up my network. For the past 6 years I’ve taught high school architecture and engineering and done real estate on the side. I have an industrial design degree and tremendous construction and real estate sales knowledge. I also started architecture school but stupidly switched to industrial design. I don’t want to go back to school for architecture. Ultimately, I want to own my own company developing real estate.

I'm joining one of the Big 4 India Anaplan practice from WITCH having 2.5 yrs of non relevent exp (did certifications, talked about transferable skills, referral etc)

Can anybody working in Anaplan give an idea about how hard the transition would be like? Do they put you on client site on Day 1? I'm glad I made it here but reading consulting reviews and how fast paced it is I'm kinda scared.

My last working day, Joining Date of new job is coming soon 10 to 15 days. I have recieved coding assessment from another product based company. I would like to join this company If I can clear all rounds, I know Interview process will take minimum 30 to 40 days.
New job I am going to join has 6 month probation with 1 month notice. Can I try attending the interviews and move to product based company after serving 2 months in New job(1 month notice) if I got selected.
