Yeah worth it, Accenture Federal arguably better than Deloitte Federal. Super chill environment, good pipeline, nicer people / culture
i would do it. more money, bigger position. ignore D1, who is probably still at DU and thinks that big D is all there is. you’re expanding your network by moving on, not shrinking it.
Base increase would be from 106 to 140. About 7 years exp. afraid to leave my network but I can do the math on being underpaid at D...
Totally worth it. I left another Big 4 for PwC. 102 -> 140. SC to M jump as well. It was tough my first year building my network and establishing my reputation, but definitely worth it. I would do it again
Accenture Federal is a great place. Comp they’re offering you is good for M1 and you can likely expect a 10%+ bonus at EOY which makes the package even more appealing.
I’ve heard average is 5-10% from ppl there
I’d say it’s worth it! The 401k match is better but I don’t know how else it compares with Deloitte. How many years of experience do you have?
Think of moving from Deloitte to Accenture as expanding your network, not losing or replacing.
Manager is a good rank for having new players in your network, gaining their trust and advocacy, and so by them time you are looking to move from Senior Manager to Partner/Principal you will have encircled yourself with long-time advocates below, at the same level as, and above you who - themselves also established in the organization - vouch for you.
You are heavily underpaid at Deloitte, remember btas are getting paid 80k and consultants get 105k as base
Hi D2, I’ve heard from others that these salaries are for Deloitte commercial, are you sure it applies to D federal too?
$106 as an SC is underpaid, esp since you have 7 years in. There are Cs pulling that in with much less tenure.
Personally I’d see if D would counter offer esp with YE approaching , else take it. ACN is a fine firm, and the title bump improves your exit opps. If you end up hating ACN, exit after 2-3 years for a nice industry role
Is 12% bump just the base? worth the lateral move? You are getting a title bump though. Will you also be eligible for year end bump with ACN?
I would use this as a negotiating point. ACN as of the past3 years have been low balling offers. If you are experienced you have leverage and depending on your physical location.
