Offered an exit to one of the large credit card processors. 40% jump in TC to 130K with 1.5 YoE, and much better WLB, although the role is hybrid 50% rather than full time remote. Issue is I had a project starting I was interested in soon, so I’m unsure how to navigate. I am interested in the exit more, so how should I start this conversation? Any advice from you all?

What’s the best way to turn down a 2nd interview? During the 1st interview, I learned that the compensation for the role is not within the range that I am looking for and requires 400 more billable hours a year than what I bill now. First I’d a manager-level BD role for a startup (but public) company im really excited/energized by. 150k base with 15% bonus and equity. Feeling down. I've interviewed for probably 12 positions (mostly Senior Manager level), and always getting rejected. Is this normal? I do try and ask for feedback, and sometimes they give saying that there just isn't the right fit for your skillset at this time. If so, then why did you interview me? #frustrated
