I just interviewed with a bank. They said that they had tried 4 other people in the role before me and so now they are looking for someone with a very specific mindset and skill set. Now, I happen to have that mindset and skill set, but they are clearly terrible interviewers who make poor decisions and then sacrifice people to those poor decisions. There is a lot of alignment in other ways but...

I’m in a little of a pickle but a good one. Offer A. Established “start up” doing well financially and projected to hit profitability. 130k base. Stocks offered, unlimited PTO, and 70% Medical covered. Offer B. Is at a business much larger…90k salary with 10% bonus and generous stock offering. Titles are different which is why the pay is much different. I know some may think it is a no brainer but offer A allows me to grow the department ground up whereas offer B id be apart of to just different

What should I do in a scenario where I was hired (12+ years) with far less salary than(~20% less) than other members (4+ experience) in team and asked to take 80% of team's responsibilities. The hiring manager low balled me sensing that I am in dire need of that job and now I am stuck for 2 years now. I asked for a raise in April 2022 after three years with my company. Positive feedback since day one. Learned I was making less than peers at other asset managers in NYC with less experience (14 years). Latest conversation was with HR about how they calculate salaries. I’ve been asked to provide examples how my role has changed since I started to justify the increase. Is this normal? Or is this just their way of denying my request?

Context is for a cloud tech consulting firm that is about 75M in revenue and 500 people and growing 10x on a 3 year intervals.
