Rapid changes in technology have left many people behind in a cruel way, especially the elderly. That poor woman. I bet she was so grateful for your help. I have been in similar positions myself and I know how emotionally draining it can be.
You’re so right, tech moves way too fast sometimes. It really can be draining, but knowing I helped her makes it worth it.

Yeah, it's crazy how things go from helping a customer with a work problem to being an unofficial therapist. It's a little bit overwhelming sometimes, the kind of things that people tell me out of nowhere.
Oh my gosh, yes! Sometimes I feel like half the job is being a therapist too 😂. People really do open up out of nowhere.
I am sorry for that, but 3 3-hour calls? Is that allowed? You were very nice for doing that, I hope they see that.
