One of the longest calls I ever had was with an elderly lady who needed help setting up her online banking app.I had to walk her through everything like how to download the app, set up her password.

What made it harder was that she kept crying in between about other things going on in her life. I honestly felt so bad for her, so I tried to explain step by step.

By the time we finally got it working, it had been 3 hours and I was emotionally and mentally wiped out!

Maxed out Roth IRA contributions when I wasn't eligible for 2021 (got a salary bump mid year). Do I need to recharacterize? It's a very small account that's been open for only two years. getting asked for discounts constantly when they know its a hard " no " but keeps asking is crazy to me

Back when I was getting started in the food world, I worked flipping burgers at In-n-Out. A man came in and said the burgers he had gotten weren’t right. He dumped the food on the counter and then he started throwing them back behind the counter. We gave him a refund and then his demeanor completely changed. He was calmer and he told us to have a great day as he left us to clean up the mess he made.

At a different job I had a customer trying to swindle me in telling me that there was a deal in an item that never had a deal or promotion for sale so he made me scan the item 20 times before believing me. Obviously, he finally let it go but I scan it with an inventory scanner that showed me all of the sale price promotions if there were any

I had customers tell me how amazing the salads I make for them. It’s great that I can make salads that good!

Once when I was waiting tables, I had a guy pay me cash. The change was 45 cents, which I didn't give back to him because like who wants that. He then asked where the change was, and when I explained that I didn't give back the loose change, he made a big stink about how dollars and cents matter and didn't leave me a tip. He was a republican staffer on capitol hill.
