Our concerns about AI are often projections of our fears about ourselves. We worry AI will be power-hungry, deceptive, and destructive—qualities we see in humanity. Are we afraid of AI, or of seeing our own nature reflected back at us? It's a matter of the creators pouring a bit of themselves into each of their creations

Such an interesting perspective! I think the fear of AI is really a reflection of our own insecurities, but also market insecurities. It's hard to separate what AI can do from what we’re capable of, especially when we see the potential for misuse. It makes you question how much value you will have in the coming economy/workforce.

Hi all,
I just moved here so this might be a dumb question so please don’t judge. Why does my laundry smell like pee and how can I fix it? I used a common washer and dryer in my building. Is it because of that? Is it mold? Is it the water? I air dry my workout leggings and they all smell really weird and I don’t know what to do 😔

Is there a website that shares announcements of recent contract wins by federal contractors across all federal agencies?

Sometimes the leadership does not even inform you on the status of a submitted proposal unless we win the work. I get why they are doing it but it would be great if there was an external source/website that would share this info instead of us waiting around to hear from them.

Is there any advantage to telling a company you are interested in working for in the future where you decided to accept an offer from? Or does it not matter? I accepted an offer a week ago with a great company (Company A) that for this season in my life seems like a great fit and only strengthens what I have to offer company B down the road. Company B just sent me a request for interview and I want to keep the door open with Company B but they were just very late in extending an interview.
