Our paid budget got cut 60% in January. Targets didn't move. So I spent Q1 doing things I'd been too busy to try ,repositioning existing content, fixing conversion leaks in the funnel, leaning harder on owned channels. Ended up hitting 80% of goal with basically nothing. Still annoyed it took a budget cut to force the audit. Anyone else found that constraints actually exposed where the real problems were? What's your zero-budget playbook?

Medicaid plans are so dysfunctional. Has anyone else experienced this? I feel like I’m being gas lighted after working for big commercial enterprises and now working on a Medicaid plan. I’ve never seen so much resistance to change or legit resistance to doing anything to improve operations.

Anyone have advice for advancing in your current role? My co-worker was hired in at manager level but somehow “proved” he was actually doing director level work and got a title promotion and salary increase in less than a year. I also went above and beyond my job as well (covering for him for a month while he was away on paternity leave) while taking on other projects outside of my job title and got zip—no raise or recognition. I was an AE for two years, took a promotion at another agency for SAE for only 8 months and am now being recruited for AS at 80k.
